I've only found boring and ugly ones on ebay and amazon, has anyone found any really nice ones out n about? will be doing fudge and Christmas biscotti for committee members, neighbours etc so doesn't need to hold a huge amount, just a regular amount :)

Sounds like a huge amount! A violin case would take much less!

Are these ugly and boring: www.amazon.co.uk/20-cellophane-bags-Christmas-design/dp/B0048F5OL8?

Have a look on partypieces, they do them. Just bought some to make my own sweets party bags.

I have some plain ones from Lakeland. You can always jazz them up with curly ribbon and some nice labels. I prefer to have clear presentation bags, I think it looks more expensive than patterned ones and more importantly people can see what they have been given
