Kids Christmas Confectionery but not in a tube.....

I've bought all my great nephews and nieces some pyjamas for Christmas. I usually stick a tube of sweeties in with their gifts as the tubes (smarties, jelly tots etc) are usually on offer at a pound each.

I don't want to spend much more than that as I have a fair few to get, but want something that isn't in a tube as they are a pain in arse to wrap and post. I don't want selection boxes either.

Anyone got any good suggestions? Kids range from just turned 1 to age 10. So either needs to be something suitable, or something with an option for older or younger kids or if anyone has a cheap deal on something non confectionery for the under 2s that would be fab too :)

Just want to get it all wrapped up now.

Last year sainsburys did some christmas jelly type sweets, very flat and ideal for posting. I had the christmas tree and something cola flavoured from memory. About 40p each so you could get a few.

My DCs love those PEZ sweet dispensers - primary had moshi ones in for £1 or you can usually pick up Christmassy ones in pound shops.

Or plastic reindeers that dispose of mini chocolates through their bottoms. Can't remember where I've seen them though. Will google it.

Thanks all, just popped out to the Coop for milk and bread and picked up some Reindeer Noses, Mini Chocolate Christmas Puddings, some nice Christmas tree shaped lollies and a couple of small Milky Bar selection boxes. That'll do for now - I'll get it all wrapped up tomorrow I think.

Would look up some more of your ideas for my own boys stockings :)

Somebody on the Reastie Christmas Present threads has been talking about mini chocolate oranges that come in nets that were very nice apparently (quality control to check they were ok for christmas Halloween Grin) - think they said they were from asda or tesco...
