Nice crochet animal style hat for an older boy/adult

My son was desperately trying on those animal/novelty style crochet hats you get for toddlers (owls/robots etc) today, nice ones from from the fancy outdoor store, not cheapy crap :o

Big problem is that he isn't age 2-4, he is 12 and 5'7 so we need something suitable for an adult :)

And before anyone mentions bullying etc, he has more than enough confidence to pull it off cocky dude

There is a lovely shop on Facebook called Babooshka - she may be able to make you something to order. I just bought a fox hat for my dd and had a blue bear hat last year

And that's a really nice pattern - I am a pretty confident knitter but have never crocheted anything other than squares - might be worth a go tho :)
