Eggnog.. Anyone tried making it?

I've always wanted to try it. Any foolproof recipes? What does it taste like?

It tastes like a boozy hot milkshake, I love it! There are a bunch of recipes on the internet, all largely the same... I just google it and pick one that sounds nice. And we use whiskey rather than any of the other suggestions, purely personal... Yum!

Martha has some great options but traditional is nicest I think. The nutmeg makes it. We make it virgin as my DS begged me to make it since National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Just add the booze you want to the bottom of the glass and add a stirrer. Warm or cold is nice.

You can get through a heck of a lot of milk and eggs though!
