Ds2 is 3 at the moment, but will be 4 on Christmas Eve, so I need birthday and Christmas presents, the problem is we have Ds1 who is 7 and all of his toy, so they have lots between them, I don't want to buy toys for the sake of buying and really am trying to find something he will like that we don't already have.....any ideas please.

Do you have a budget?

Does he have a favourite character that is different to what DS1 liked?

No no budget - would prefer something not too loud, electronic, with batteriesSmile, but it's his present and that's exactly what he would like. They both like the same things at this age, Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly, Painting anything messy, Play doh, etc..

I am thinking of a joint present for outside like a trampoline - we better have some pretty good Christmas elves to assemble on the 24th.

We got one a few years ago, but we had snow and solid ice from November until March, so it had to live in the garage until Spring.....just as well it was from Granny and not Santa!!

I was hoping it would be a good way to get them out of the house/burn off some energy. They are quite hardy maybe could I throw them out anyway.

Ha ha, I meant we couldn't even get it out of the boxes to get it built up. We had 3 inches of solid frozen ice and the country ran out of grit and as we had made snowmen out the back and trampled the ground, it was solid ice too and therefore we couldn't get it built up. I didn't fancy trying to kneel on that lot to construct a trampoline :)

Beware tho, they eventually turn invisible to the children Wink
