Most men i know have lots of swanky gadgets, could you sew a phone/tablet/e-reader case?

homemade gentleman's relish.

If he finds it too hot he can dunk it in a beaker afterwards.

My Dad loves Christmas cake, my mum's in particular but since they're divorced I don't think she's chomping at the bit to make sure he has his festive fruit cake fix! I've made him one this year, not using my Mum's recipe which I think is cack but figured if anyone knew how to make a Christmas cake it was Mary Berry. It's a pretty good looking cake if I may say so myself.

It will be the main event in his hamper. I'll add some nice cheddar, we eat cheese with our Christmas cake because we're strange. Maybe some chutney, possibly homemade and probably some local cider.

Foodie: fudge; toffee; jam; chutney; granola; small fruit cakes (small baked bean tins good for this); small Christmas puddings

Depending how far ahead you have to make it, you could make some biscuits for cheese, and add one of those small truckles you get in supermarkets at Christmas. Or a selection of sweet biscuits.

If you knit, fingerless gloves; scarf
