Childhood Christmas memories

Related to another thread I have realised that I don't really have any strong memories around any particular toys I got for Christmas.

My strongest Christmas memory is wearing the jumper my oldest sister bought for my Dad - a grey cable knit with a leatherette patch on each elbow. I liked it (more than he did), it was big on me and cosy and our house was freezing. I went out on our drive and I think some flakes of snow fell. It was the Christmas that George Michael was in the charts with 'Last Christmas'.

What is your favourite Childhood Christmas memory? My memory is special because my Dad died only a few years later and so I did not have many more Christmas days to spend with him.

Queueing up to see Father Christmas in Lewis's in Manchester. Paul McCartney's 'Wonderful Christmas Time' was playing and it was the most excited I've ever been. That song takes me back to that moment every time I hear it.
