Christmas present ideas for first child

Hey, first time parent here looking for some ideas on Christmas presents for my 8month old baby boy. I know he won't understand the whole concept but it's still his first Christmas so I want to make it really special but not overly expensive at the same time. Possible? :) x

Vtech Toot toot vehicles are a big hit with my little one :)

My DD was almost 6 months on her first Christmas and she loved it! She played with the wrapping paper mostly but it was still very special. I would recommend the leap frog violet or scout teddy. You can personalise it and program it to sing nursery rhymes. My dd still loves hers aged 2! You must also ensure you take lots of pictures of your little one dressed in novelty onsies. We have don't great ones of dd dressed as an elf!
