DS is now 19 mo. I'd say the things he's used the most since he turned 1 are the Tomy Hide and Squeak eggs, the V-Tech alphabet train, simple stacking wooden rings, shape sorters, and picture books with real photos of things in.

I got DS. A scuttlebug for his 1st birthday which he loves.

I say this all the time, but playsilks. I got some big silk squares,dyed them with food colouring and they have been the most-used toys we have. Dens, scenery, superhero capes, princess dresses, doll parachutes, landscapes to explore, blankets and clothes for cuddly toys, magical mess detectors, wings, wigs...they have seemingly infinite uses.

scuttlebug! DS loved his, received at 1 and still used at age 4. He's graduated to a scooter now.

Wheelybug and a doll's buggy were most loved here.

DS is about to turn 1 and for birthday / Xmas between us, grandparents etc he is getting a wheelybug, scramblebug, (2nd hand), vtech garage and cars, a wooden london bus,some board books, elc post box, galt pop-up toy, and a wooden puzzle.

Ball pool, pop up tent and tunnel, helium balloon :)

I guess my ds was easily pleased, his favourite present at 1 was a torch shaped like a dog which barked when you turned it on. He's 3 now and still loves it. Best £5 I ever spent!
