Love Black Friday.

Don't give up hope if you're his up on the waiting list, I was #128 once for a kiddizoom camera and still managed to get it a few years ago. Just don't leave your computer!

Gutted I am working this year as past few years I've been able to get most things I wanted and sat glued to my laptop

I have shamelessly rationalised as thus.

I pay my corporation tax. I pay a living wage to employees. If I didn't I could afford to buy this stuff at John Lewis instead of Amazon. But I do so I can't.

I'm hoping that will keep the capitalist guilt away till after Christmas Grin

No, I've left it. I really wish I'd saved money up over the year ready for this!

I really need a new electric toothbrush but it will have to wait until at least the end of the week if they are back on.

Not having much luck, missed out on the gruff all storage thing and the Kipling purse, I wanted the rocket dog boots but they were too much ( they were only £35 yesterday anyway so £31 was a huge saving ).

Is there a way to stop having to go back through all the pages after you click on the deal?!!

Report
SoupDragon · 25/11/2013 11:51

I right click and open in a new tab. Probably doesn't work to claim a deal though but it's good for browsing.

Baazinga · 25/11/2013 11:58

Kateecass if you open each deal you want to look at in a separate tab you can just go back to the main page where you left it.

That didn't open a new tab for some reason but it worked! Had some Illy coffee in my basket but only got a £1 off so not worth it really.

Go to Amazon. Click on the banner that mentions Black Friday. It shows current deals, upcoming deals, etc. Click on something you like, and if the deal is on then you have a set amount of time to buy at that price. Once in your basket you have 15 minutes to pay. Check the lightning deal is mentioned on the product page before you add it to your basket, if the deal has just happened you might need to refresh to get new price. Buy as normal.

< must not buy ukulele , must not buy ukulele > get out of my basket ukulele Smile

I managed to get the Kipling purse even though I don't need a new purse ( it's ok to have a spare isn't it?).

Click on the Black Friday icon on the homepage. Scroll through the upcoming deals until you spot what you fancy. Keep an eye out at he specified time. I just add he item as soon as i can and then check the price. If you are happy with the offer, check out within 15mins.

Once 100% has been claimed you can go on a wait list, incase anyone opts out. Then once all of the sales go through, or he wait list is full - it shows unavailable.
