Is 2.50pm and I have just - after the debacle where the POXY delivery man armed with 10 parcels, yes TEN arrived with a couple of items from yesterday but RIGHT before 2.15 kick-off (grrrrrrr....) so I lost what I was after (first world probs huh?;))

HOWEVER, given I know how pants if feels to NOT get something you really want for DC's and maybe full whack is just a tad over budget; I have just taken a MASSIVE punt - hope not made mistake here!!! - and bought THIS - THE RED 27.99 DISNEY EAR MUFF/GLOVES/SCARF ETC as having been on the wait list for hours as I carried on with my Christmas shopping and this mad feeling of cross between Lottery numbers being read out and Bingoit HAS just come through as avail. to me. So, it's yours if YOU wanted it but couldn't get it!

I can't seem to get it to work on my ipad. I can see the clock go down, it sticks at 0, then I have to refresh and go back in, by which time it is gone. Am I doing it wrong?

Also if I am wait listed I only get notification that my time to take up the deal has gone, so I guess I am missing an alert that it's available again.

Lambzig if there's something you particularly want it could be worth changing the category (at the right hand end of the deals list) so that you don't need to load all the deals, but just the category in which the thing you want is held. That way the pictures load faster - or they do for me.

I just discovered a very interesting little website which gives some data on Amazon prices- historic highs and lows for both Amazon itself and third party sellers new and used selling through the sire. It's not totally up to date- I didn't see the doll that I just bought DD for example, but I will be checking in future to see if my hypothetical bargain is really all that.

And I am kicking myself that the Playmobil farm I bought for DD's Christmas is now £13 cheaper. Win some, lose some, I guess.

Oh now I'm majorly annoyed It's this Prime thing - they keep dispatching things before I change my mind. So I did buy the XL 3DS (as well as the ordinary one from yesterday) then went to cancel delivery a mere 90 minutes later and although I'd changed delivery to 1st class from next day it's already been sent off. Argh. Now there's another one later with the game DS really wants - I can't buy three of them mind you if he keeps on Ii'm sending them both back
