What are you buying the menfolk?

I find men's gifts so difficult to choose. Have sorted dds and my nieces pressies and have ideas at least for my sisters, mum and nan but absolutely no idea what to get DP, my dad, stepdad and my brothers.
I know one size doesn't fit all but I'd like to steal some of your ideas pretty please!

standard man-stuff in our family includes:

malt whisky
slippers/dressing gowns
retro sweets (aquarterof are very good)
port and cheese
PS3 games (think Assssins creed)
vouchers for motorbike shop (!)
bottles of ale in a hamper
chocolates
Chutney and crackers
quality woollen scarf (designers at debenhams idea)
thermal gloves/ beanie hat

I hate buying for the men in my family. DS is only 11 and easy because he is into video games and Newcastle UFC but the adult men either don't have any hobbies or interests or they want specific things that they'd have to choose themselves.

DP and I don't really bother with each other as money is always tight. If we do exchange gifts we tell each other what we want so we don't waste money. He usually wants a new football shirt, power tool, artists pens/equipment.
Dad always gets tobacco and my mum will add some Old Spice and slippers to his present to make it look like I've really thought about it (grin)
DFIL is impossible. He doesn't want/need anything and due to religious beliefs he won't indulge in entertainment either. I usually get him and MIL a joint present (she is no easier than him) of a board game or something for the home. Last year I bought them a door stop!

I don't buy for any other men, thank God!

Are they into sport? Thankfully most of the men in our family play golf, cycling, football. So I can always pick up bits for these. Golf tees, gloves, cycling gloves, metallic water bottles etc are always good for sporty people

This year i am getting dp a superdry coat for his main gift. He has been lusting after one all year since his maye got one
I also usually get him some aftershave, some new joggers for round the house he doesnt understand pjs and bits and bobs like socks, boxers, dvds etc.

I usually get my brother a couple of bits off his anazon wishlist, he likes autobiographies of sports people/cook books etc.

My dad has an ever expanding le creuset collection so i am getting him one of the oven bake dishes and a set of mugs. Very boring but he will love them. Maybe a cook book and some sweets too.

I treated my dp to some ugg slippers for his birthday as i was sick of him ruining his socks! He was a bit 'wtf' when he opened them but he never has them off!! Well worth the money, and a couple of his mates have got them since. Hes started a bit of a trend :)

my dh buys for all the men in his side of the family,i only have my brother and my stepdad to buy for on my side,i always buy them aftershave as i know they both love it and will wear most of them!i think dh is quite lazy and usually ends up just buying his brothers,dad etc gift sets with either beer or smellies in!

For DP I'll be renewing his empire subscription and getting him a new wallet from fossill (he shares my purse atm).
For stocking fillers pyjamas, socks and wine gums. He's a writer so every year I get him a nice notebook. I tend not to buy him DVDs as he always buys them himself. I'm going to buy him some new clothes as he's starting to look a bit tatty around the edges.

For his dad, usually a combination of shortbread, whisky and something involving steam trains. (He's like doc brown from back to the future 3). Last year I struck gold with a steam train shaped tin with shortbread in it and the cath kidston train print mug.

For my dad, if I was talking to him, booze and socks.
Brother - DVD vouchers.
I do wish the gadget shop was still going.
