Oh happiness, I look forward the the catalogue arriving, my first bit of overt Christmas excitement and now dd is 4ish she is nicely excited too.

Seriously? How long would you use that bedding for about a week?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/09/2013 20:33

excuse the typing i've got a guinea-pig here

the bedding is lovely.
i would put it on your dd bed as soon as she finishes school for christmas.

my dc both have double beds so can't have anything like this but they've got their fleeces with festive pictures on the, Grin

and you can use it every year from now on.

Oddsocksrus · 24/09/2013 20:51

There is also a grown up, brushed cotton double bed set :)
Not exactly Rudolph but cute

When we were little we had Christmas fleece blankets that came out for the Christmas holidays, I still have mine. It was part of the excitement counting down the last few days.

I think that Christmas duvets should be there for as long as the advent calendars run (who am I kidding, for three months Grin)

Christmas duvets are fab. Our christmas elf brings ours with the advent calendars on the 1st December.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/09/2013 22:08

Oooh that "stag" bedlinen is lovely.
My DD has purple/lilac but I could treat DS to a couple of festive pillowcases Grin

Rubybrazilianwax · 24/09/2013 22:28

How gorgeous is this bed linen?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/09/2013 23:25

Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed the Nordic Bedding Ruby

I could persuade DH to go for this because it doesn't look too warm.
(Last year I bought a fleecy microfibre bedding set. DH hated it,. DD decided she wanted it . So Envy of her snuggled up cosy )

HelgatheHairy · 25/09/2013 12:54

I have to have that Nordic duvet cover!!! I always have a red duvet cover on the bed for Christmas. Have a Next one but this one is just gorgeous. The eBay seller doesn't have the red in King size but I've found it in amazon.

Oddsocksrus · 25/09/2013 14:51

Helgathefairy could I have a link to the amazon king size Nordic cover please?

Oddsocksrus · 25/09/2013 14:55

PistachioTruffle · 25/09/2013 16:21

Pssst, Primark also had Nordic inspired Christmas duvet covers in brushed cotton in single, double and king sizes this week Wink

CockBollocks · 25/09/2013 16:28

I have Xmas bedding, we put it on xmas eve. Its part of the excitement!!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 25/09/2013 18:14

Ordered the Nordic Duvet cover (in grey) DH wouldn't entertain red Grin

HelgatheHairy · 25/09/2013 18:28

oddsocks it's buggering sold out! I hadn't even ordered it yet!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 05/10/2013 18:24

I was in Primark today and got a flannelette/ brushed cotton sheet and 2 pillowcases

white with tiny navy reindeer Grin
to 'go with' my grey Nordic Duvet cover and pillowcases.

(I realise now that navy would've gone much better but never mind. Bedroom is grey and DH doesn't do 'toning'.
Or warm bedding Hmm )

GwendolineMaryLacey · 05/10/2013 18:33

They've got a lovely

Christmas cardi for the girls. £22 each though :(

Kelly281 · 05/10/2013 19:55

I can confirm the cardigan is just as nice in real life. It is very steep for a cardigan that has limited use though. I'm hoping I might get 2yrs out of DDs, as it's a bit baggy at the moment!

IsaacCox · 05/10/2013 20:51

I've just ordered the Nordic one in grey, I can't wait to use it Grin this one

HelgatheHairy · 05/10/2013 21:38

I received the red yesterday. I haven't opened it yet but it looks lovely. I ran into Primark quickly today, wish I'd seen those sheets 70isnotalimit mentioned. If I don't get a chance to go back I'll get a red fitted sheet and pillowcases.
