I don't think I need any more decorations. I bought lights and a tree skirt earlier in the year.
And I put a "Father Christmas climbing down a chimney " throw on my sofa. (DC have festive throws on their beds)

But some nice cushions..........mmmm

Wouldn't even need the whole cushion, just the covers then I could put them over my usual ones.

So. Where would I find such a thing

(And don't say "sew your own" because I don't sew apart from Name tags if I have to and Hallowe'en costumes because I want to)

Wink

Loads of places have Christmas cushions now. Last year I bought some cheap ones at Dunelm Mill but other places which definitely had them last year are John Lewis, Next and H&M.

We have quite a few Blush

Disclaimer: I haven't actually purchased any myself but my mum usually gets us a new one every year. I believe most of them she has bought from Laura Ashley (in the sale).

if you get some fabric glue and felt you can tart up some plain cushion covers with felt and sequins etc for christmas. Better yet, let the older DC's do it!

JerseySpud · 24/09/2013 18:00

I'm already there Grin

I'll go to Dunelm Mill this week for a snoop.

I have some cushions (which I like) so I don't want to Christmas Ponceyfy them but I don't need the complete cushion, just covers (though if they are a good price, I'll just get the complete things)

Grin to draught excluders
Grin to cross stitching

DH thinks I'm a bit weird Wink
