I was thinking a doll house mafe of cardboard (can't rem the name of the companu) with dino skeletons inside (from the nhm).

Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Smile

Oh crikey. That's quite an ask!

You can get little figures of other things that might be in the NHM... If you search Wild Republic toys on amazon they have little sets like ice age theme with mammoths etc.

I guessing you wouldn't want to stick them down into 'exhibits' though if he wanted to play with them... Hmm. Tricky.

You could perhaps make a map of the layout and print that out too (maybe even on glossy paper so it looks like a proper leaflet)

The Calafant Palace (you can buy on Amazon) is cardboard and looks quite gothic. I think that the dinosaurs would have to live outside it though.

Also I believe playmobil have a caveman type range although that would ramp up the cost a lot I think.

thanks for the replies.

I'm considering the paperpod doll house as it is plain card. Anybody seen one of theae? The ice age set would be perfect! Thanks!

99p/poundland often have kits where you break the 'rock' to find dino skeleton - you could put a few of those in. Has he watched Night at the Museum 1&2? My dc loved them - though American museum. You could try to find some guards. ELC had 3for 2 on their animals so you might find some appropriate ones - no dodos though. Sounds fun.
