I am trying to be super organised this year and have done a lot of browsing and bookmarking :)
I have found bits for pretty much everyone except my mum. Any help would be appreciated!

She is 56, doesnt have specific hobbies but likes dog walking, gardening, cooking etc. last year i got her a woodwick candle, some escada perfume and some leather gloves for when she poshes up on a weekend. (Mon - fri she lives in jeans and fleeces :) )

I am really struggling so would like suggestions maybe from a more 'mature' lady :) i was wondering about maybe a nice leather purse? But not seen anything inspiring...

Budget is upto about £75 but i could combine funds with my brother for something big.
Thanks in advance!

Would she like membership to say RHS or similar ?

Depending where she lives how about tickets to The Chelsea Flower Show.

Really decent gardening gloves - my Dad never wears good ones himself but buys them for other gardeners!

Crabtree &Evelyn Gardeners scrub @ Handcream duo -they usually do offer near Christmas.

Cashmere scarf From M&S -wait for offers like 20% day but they do some lovely not to big ones in large colour range which are just right with fleece etc but can also be used at weekend glam up.

Re purse - are you near an Osprey outlet -they do some lovely. Purses in great colours at reasonable prices.

Sorry if these are a bit obvious/useless

How about a nice pair of posh wellies if she enjoys dog walking. They're the sort of thing I'd love but could never justify spending more than £20 on.

Magazine subscription; theater tickets or theater vouchers; digital photo frame; cookery books; beauty treatment vouchers

Make up a hamper (e.g. gardening things; night in; pamper night)

TKMaxx is good for purses and with your budget of £75 could probably get a bag too

Book about local walks (depends how far she likes to go with the dog but we have a book of local walks starting/ending at pubs and they range from 2 - 7 miles)

Getting my mum a kindle for Christmas.

Thanks for replies :)

I like the idea of posh wellies, she would definitely get use of them she spend half her life in the woods with the dog! Any brand recomendations?

Also liking the pashmina idea, pretty but practical. Going to look at osprey purses online now.
She doesnt really like the theatre type stuff, but does like films etc so maybe a hamper of dvd/popcorn/bottle of wine would be good as an extra gift.

Thanks :)

I've been hinting for a pair of Hunter wellies for years. Joules also do some lovely wellies
