What's your favourite Christmas event/ place to visit

DD will be 3.6 and DS 2 at Christmas. It's the first year I'm thinking of taking them to a Christmas event/activity. Just wondered what your favourite place to visit is and why?

That looks lovely! Trying to persuade DH to go to Waddesdon Manor for the winter lights.

I don't know where in the country you are, but we absolutely love Chessington Garden Centre, it sounds rubbish but there's a magical Santa visit, with short movie & walk through 'woods' (last year wind in the willows themed) and they have a restaurant and a Christmas circus, not to mention tonnes if decorations. My DD (2) loves it! When we went this summer to buy plants she said 'Are we seeing Santa??!' I think it may have been her first retained memory

I'm in the Cotswolds area. Spent yesterday evening trying to think of local places that might do something for Christmas.
