Yes the singing christmas tree is fab. Love that the house is all decorated and that the staff all dress up as fairytale characters. We did the ice skating which was great fun too. The Train is pricey but worth it especially if your DC are young. Plus everything else is open too. A brilliant Christmas family day out x

So longest you say? We have been looking at something (ie checked Disney Paris and fell off my perch at the price) but that could be an alternative. Is it really Christmassy?

Crutchlow35 · 10/09/2013 17:33

Oh may be not. It is a bit far from Scotland!

Rosvita · 10/09/2013 23:33

Crutchlow - nothing beats disneyland paris at christmas season-we were there last year -christmas Calvacade fantastic, they make the park 'snow', and Dreams is fantastic. We are low on funds this year so just going to do Longleat as only 1-2 hours away from us.

I know but for one Saturday night in December it is £500 without flights from Edinburgh and spends. May be next year

I've done Peppa Pig christmas and I'm not sure it's worth a special drive to see it. They have a santa grotto, and peppa pig world has some christmas tree. I think that is it. We went only because we are local.

Worth saving for to do next year.Unfortuately everything like that is so expensive it takes me a year to save for it!
