That's it really. Love the look of ikeas wooden toy kitchen for dc but not sure if there's anything else out there.
Would prefer no pink.

We have it and its great, the kids live it and very sturdy.

Btw, we bought it last Christmas and it was about £65 In Total for the top and bottom bit then in Jan/Feb time we were there and the price had risen to £90plus!!! Serious mark up there...

It's still lovely and a nice piece of"furniture" without looking too childlike and pink, etc. will last ages! Smile

wickedfairy · 05/09/2013 13:21

The kids LOVE it, not live it. Sigh.

LittleBlackDress · 05/09/2013 13:22

Watching with interest! Have been wondering exactly the same thing myself!

LittleBlackDress · 05/09/2013 13:22

Think it was reduced when I looked at it recently. Not sure if it still is.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 05/09/2013 13:23

It's £65 all in now.

Got it last christmas, it is played with every day by dd1 2 years. It is sturdy and looks nice. I'd recommend it!

ImFineThankYou · 05/09/2013 14:17

We got ours last Christmas when it was on offer too, our lot love it...I would get it if it's on offer now as it may go up before Christmas.

We got the little tikes wooden kitchen two years ago and it has been played by our two every day since and every child who comes around loves it too. It has stood up to quite a bit of battery but is a really lovely thing, a bit more pricey though.

The mothercare kitchen diner is gorgeous I have it but not sure if they discontinued as I got it when it was reduced from £159 to £65.. Probably not helpful.. But it is lovely and played with everyday Smile

We have the tidlo kitchen station from amazon and its fab. £75 I think.
It's red and silver, very solid and we bought Melissa and Doug wooden cookware in red to go with it.
It looks really smart and the kids adore it

bigwellylittlewelly · 05/09/2013 18:58

We got a haba one. It it absolutely superb

RhinestoneCowgirl · 05/09/2013 19:00

We bought it for our toddler group years ago and it's still going strong (didn't get the top bit tho). It's really sturdy!

MortifiedAdams · 05/09/2013 19:02

We have the IKEA one, bought as soon as it went down to 65, still boxed as it is dds birthday present (this december).

I searched a LOT. Hopefully it will live up to its reputation.

LittleBlackDress · 05/09/2013 19:27

Ooh, the Little Tikes one looks lovely, too!

stargirl1701 · 05/09/2013 19:29

Brio make a lovely kitchen set.

ImFineThankYou · 05/09/2013 19:37

The ikea ones more my price range. The others are lovely though! Thanks for some more ideas.
Does anyone know, the ikea one says 'new price' does that mean it'll be staying that price or we could do with buying it while it's that price?

HomeEcoGnomist · 05/09/2013 19:45

Just as an aside, would recommend Melissa & Doug play food etc to stock it up
