Special festive title for spottyteacakes Grin . Here we go people, the THIRD bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Unsure if this has already been mentioned, but WHS are running a promotion 'while stocks last'. When you buy any pencil case (cheapest is apparently £1.19) you can buy a 24 set of Sharpies for £6.99. The deal is unfortunately in-store only.

iloveholidays · 18/08/2013 13:12

WaitMonkey. Someone mentioned earlier (sorry can't remember the name) that Yellow Moon give a donation to charity for their sales, hence why they are slightly more expensive.

iloveholidays · 18/08/2013 13:13

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood

I love holidays
I order loads from baker ross ( the same company) and it is ace.
Yellow moon charge slightly more for stuff to allow for a donation to the charity of your choice. Baker Ross is slightly cheaper but you don't have the % donation to charity.

Thanks. Just in the middle of setting up an account with BR. When I've used YM in the past I've opted to donate to my daughter's Rainbows group, but it's only a tiny percentage of the order total, that they receive. Would rather pay less on BR and just make a small donation to the Rainbows group at Christmas. Thanks again. Love Christmas craft. Grin Is it too early to ask for the Christmas emotions ?

WaitMonkey · 18/08/2013 13:31

Also 3.3% for BR and YM on topcashbavck. 3% from Quidco.

platespinnermum · 18/08/2013 13:46

I ordered the Apothecary makeup set & just collected from my local House of Fraser - it's lovely, much bigger than I expected & will make a fab present for my teenage niece. Also picked up this set of 6 mini diffusers reduced to £12 from £30 - difficult-to-buy-for brother & wife sorted Smile. There are lots of offers in the Home Fragrance section on their website.

olivo · 18/08/2013 13:50

Can anyone explain a bit about studio 24 for me? there are lots of bargains, but am I right that I appear to be setting up a catalogue account ( that I don't really want!) ? Am I going to be stung for charges, or am I able to pay it off immediately?

Thanks!

Huffpot · 18/08/2013 14:06

I just tried to do the magazine subscription...it accepted the code on the first page but not on second page...do I need to enter it twice?

LaTrucha · 18/08/2013 14:12

Thanks for Dogger link. I love Dogger.

Slainte · 18/08/2013 14:14

If I remember correctly you do enter it twice.

LippyDiDooDah · 18/08/2013 14:17

olivo I buy from Studio 24 and pay the full balance a month or so later whenever the bill comes in and I just pay for what I've bought no hidden extras. Not sure how much it would cost if I paid it off in dribs and drabs as don't like HP.

HTH Smile

yabbadabba · 18/08/2013 14:19

Yes you enter it twice. I ordered some things from studio 24 last year and im sure you csn pay it off all at once as it gives you an option of how much you want to pay.
Have also seen lots more stuff to order as i have just had the christmas catalogue delivered.
It always gets me exited Grin

Slainte · 18/08/2013 14:21

Huff are you using P1310P as your code rather than "B"? That worked for me.

Huffpot · 18/08/2013 14:25

Ahhh I was using the B - let me try the P - thanks Slainte

Huffpot · 18/08/2013 14:28

Ok its worked - am just entering details now. Thank you Slainte Thanks

everydayaschoolday · 18/08/2013 14:56

Studio 24: I have paid off balance over the phone in one go. It's an automated tel service. I didn't incurr extra charges or interest. However, I wouldn't order from them again as I wasn't impressed with their quality (gift items were very small, and personalised towels were thin) cards and wrap might be better...

iloveholidays · 18/08/2013 15:33

WaitMonkey... Can I ask what bits you decided to go for? I've put the mugs, couple of card making kits and magnets in my basket... Not sure whether to get anything else...?

Thanks

JaquelineHyde · 18/08/2013 15:36

Woohoo thread 3!

Cards and wrap that I have ordered from Studio before are fine and they do have some fab bargains.

Look out for their Christmas catalogue to start, the sweet selections are usually quite good!
