What to buy a 14 mth old girl who has two bigger sisters?

Have bought bath toy for her birthday as they don't always last but stumped as to what to get her for Christmas... About £10. They live a distance from us so its one of the presents I like to get sorted first so we can exchange when we next see them... Any ideas? Tia

I could... But would feel very embarrassed asking this early. That's the downside to early Christmas shopping!

My youngest dd is almost 3 and I have the same problem. She literally has everything. I would maybe go with a nice personalised name plaque for her room so it's something that is obviously hers. My girls have all got beautiful framed prints of their names which hang above their beds. Don't think they were any more than a tenner.

We have this issue as we have four boys.

Bit you dont have to buy stereotypical 'girls' toys!

Happyland so good, I dont know what your budget is but they do all sorts of stuff and their rid a fabulous happy land double decker London bus. I got one last year for my daughter and also for my nephew, both love them :)

If you don't want to ask then I would either do as mum23 says and get something personal to her, or go for things that can be "used up" such as craft items, play doh etc.

If she has a charm bracelet started for her you could maybe get a little charm?

You could get a blanket. Again all 3 of my girls have lovely blankets that are still used and oldest 2 are nearly 8. Or a wee backpack. She'll maybe be at the stage where her mum won't want to carry the big changing bag everywhere so a wee backpack is handy. Or a nice doll that will be hers and hers alone :-)

My youngest loves Thomas the Tank and got a lovely treasury book of that. Other 2 are very girly so first time we've had Thomas. Also for her 2nd birthday she got a personalised Peppa Pig book where she is written in to it as another character. Again that's been a popular gift

Oh and we got some paint marker things out of elc. They are great and make no mess if you want to go the craft route.

A melamine plate/bowl/cup that is just hers? Or an umbrella or backpack? Tiny foldup chair? You want something that she will be able to claim as "MINE" I think. What is her favourite animal or character? Something with that on it? My third DD really liked to know some things were hers alone and not hand-me-downs.

In the past for new babies in my family, I have bought a limited edition bear with their name.

Boyds bears are pretty good for that.

You also get Christmas baubles that can be personalised too I think.

Are her sisters much older?

If they are then a character that has become popular after her sisters stopped being babies might've useful. For example my youngest is 7 and doesn't know a lot of the popular Cbeebies characters like Octonauts, Mike The Night etc that I see mentioned on MN.

On the same theme, there seems be newly published Christmas picture books every year.

I have 3 girls and I would say something nice for her bedroom. A girlie photo board, they come in different shapes with ribbon on to hold photos on.

Or the removable wall stickers. You can get lovely ones for not much.

Or a nice mirror for her room.

Or a trinket/jewellery box.

Or a cute picture for a bedroom wall as she moves from baby to toddler.

If a toddler give a non fun bedroom type present with a tube of bubble mixture and they will be pleased : )
