Anywhere selling Xmas wrapping paper yet?

We are spending Christmas on the other side of the world this year, and I want to get on and wrap and surface mail the bulk of the kids' presents from us and Santa, but don't have enough Christmas paper (and need to keep the paper separate as my 4 year old is too savvy by half)

Has anyone seen any Christmas paper in the shops yet? Can't remember when Costco start to sell theirs...

TIA

Card factory had some and Clintons had some on 3for2 last week if you have them near you?

Studio Cards online

Card factory bought some wrapping paper and Xmas cards this week

Costco are September AFAIK.
I love their paper, it's really thick (so good for hiding presents unlike some of the thin skimpy stuff). Massive rolls.
They do a double sided so you can buy a huge roll - does 2 people.

I don't do tags but I'll wrap DD and DS presents in different paper

(And I love their glass baubles. I buy a new box every year because i can 100% guarantee that a couple of mine won't last the season)

That's brilliant thanks. I'll pop into Card Factory this week to see what is about. Thanks for the Costco paper tip. I did look at their rolls last year but already had enough for that Christmas.

I'm sad to not have mounds of wrapping to do in December (saddo that I am, it's one of my favourite things to do!!) but I might have to have a mid-summer Christmas this year, put on a Xmas CD and have wine and mince pies. Actually that's a point, does anyone sell mince pies in August?!!

Do you have a hampsons bakers, they do them all year round and sell out about ten mins after they leave the oven

ballinacup · 07/08/2013 13:47

Sainsburys sell mince pies. Not as good as fresh from the oven, but readily available regardless!

Home Bargains do a 10m roll of matt silver paper for 50p.

you could always try designing your own wrapping paper if you want to use something a bit different to the usual xmas wrapping paper there is about. I designed my own from www.wickedwrappingpaper.com and loved it. its a bit more expensive but the quality was good and i'd recommend giving it a go. good luck

Are you travelling to Australia? They have a habit of opening parcels if they think they're dodgey and will go through wrapping paper in the blink of an eye.
Coykd you buy some leaves of wrapping paper, rather than rolls, abd send it in the same parcel? You'll have to wrap when you arrive... so might as well buy it over there?

Sorry, I feel like I've pissed on your Christmas parade Blush

Thanks all, actually managed to get a BRILLIANT deal at Clintons today. They had 75% off Christmas paper, plus 3 for 2, so managed to get 6 massive rolls for £2.75!!!! Very happy.

elQuinto, I'm going to NZ and we arrive the day before Christmas Eve so was hoping to avoid having to spend the day at my parents' place wrapping presents. Hopefully Customs won't unwrap everything...
