What would a 15 month old boy enjoy for xmas?

Wonder if I can pick something up in the sales, but have no experience of children this age so honestly wouldn't know what would be a hit! Help, anyone?

Wrapping paper and empty boxes! No need to spend £££. I remember buying bath toys and bangy musical things.

At that age my dd really liked her wheelybug, doll and buggy (plenty of boys like them too), plastic farm animals and felt tips.

My DS loved anything with wheels he could push at that age. Dolls' buggy, push along car, one those carts with wooden bricks inside... bath toys are also good.

My advice? Don't go mad. I did for my DD who was 15 months old her second christmas and felt very foolish indeed! DS was 18 months last christmas and I learnt my lesson sort of and the day was better for him I think. Less overwhelming.

Books are always good too.

But I agree with "anything with wheels" Ds is 2.5 and the obsession with cars etc is still strong!

Our son had something like this when he was one and loved it. The cars run all the way from the top to the bottom which he found fascinating.

Thank you all! Have had a nosey online and was wondering about a ride-on toy if I see something in the sales? Will look out for a wheely thing to push, as that seems to be the consensus!

I have a 15 mo boy. At the moment, he enjoys anything electronic that makes a noise (pretend phone, laptop type things, vehicles, essentially anything with buttons), board books with buttons that make a noise (look at Usborne's This Is My Tractor/Car/Puppy), stacking cups, anything he can throw, his garage and his VTeck treehouse thing. And my sieve, colander and cheese grater. And the washing machine.

DS1 used to like pushing things around, like his toy hoover, shopping trolley and walker.

Mine was 12mo last Christmas and loved, (still loves, in fact) his Happyland playsets, his doll and buggy, his ride along pirate ship and his push along cart with blocks.
