It tasted so disgusting I had to chuck it and make alternative arrangements. Anyone else try it?

Snap! It really was revolting. Luckily I tasted it before serving, so threw it away and quickly made my own. Just remembered there's another pot in the fridge!

We had it and DH said it tasted of just grease, the M&S one we had last year was amazing so worth doing a trip to there again next year.

SandyChick · 26/12/2012 16:34

Same here. It was awful.

SizzleSazz · 26/12/2012 16:36

My DSis said it was dreadful too Sad

You need to complain about it or they wont know. You should get a refund at the very least. Tesco gets enough of our money, so it is right to tell them when something is not right. Just sayin' :)

I'd write to tesco and complain.

In fact I think I am going to about the mini beef wellingtons I bought from Sains. They were foul.

We had the M&S one this year a "new recipe" apparantely and that tasted weird too. Good job we had Bisto in the cupboard!

We had it, it tasted ok once warmed up. I bought the onion gravy too which we had on 23rd, thought that was horrible.

MyCatHasStaff · 26/12/2012 19:29

We had it too. It was horrible.

Furball · 26/12/2012 19:32

i'd complain.

i did similar with those 'stock pots' - made a stew once and had to throw it out. yuck

But next year try my Easy Gravy Wink

Put a couple of dessert spoons of flour in a big jug with 3/4 pint of cold water and an oxo chicken stock cube

microwave for one minute, take out stir - repeat that for 4 -5 times

add gravy browning and voila, lovely gravy, simples
