I didn't realise I had to freeze my Nigella Chocolate Fruit cake - do you think it will be all right?

So I made the Nigella Chocolate fruit cake on stir up sunday (so end of November) and didn't read the instructions properly, so I wrapped it up and put it in an air tight box rather than froze it.

I have unwrapped it today and can't see any mould on it - will it be ok?

(I have made an emergency one today, but it didn't turn out so well!).

I make it all the time and it is simply a boiled fruit cake, which will keep a couple of months if wrapped and stored in a cupboard. There is so much fruit and sugar to preserve it. It is absolutely my favourite fruitcake recipe, I am sure it will be delicious.
