Not a good day for all concerned then

We already had ours but we didn't order a turkey so no problem here. The delivery man - who looked frazzled at 10.40 this morning - said some delivery trucks from the depots were very late this morning, only reaching the store as he was leaving for his round at 8.45am so there will definitely be some stuff missing he thinks. Not me though.

Well I had a watermelon missing which is a teensy bit disappointing 'cos it's on DDs Santa list , but you know, the world won't end.

It's a reminder, isn't it, that it's too easy to get a bit insane over the whole thing? That woman's having a "brutal" morning 'cos some people may not get to eat a turkey this Christmas.
