Do you send out annual letters with your Christmas cards about your highlights of the year? Do you like getting them?

Yes to both- but people love to hate them and they won't have a good word! I never understand why they exchange cards with people they have no interest in and don't even appear to like!

Don't send them and we only get one, from friends in America that we never see so I like hearing about what they've been up to for the year.

Don't send them but get two. Both tell us things we didn't know. I don't really like them but the people who send them are very nice.

If I could write one as good as my mother's, I probably would - they are hysterical (and not just a chronological list of holidays....). Other than that we get two, one from US friends and one from others we rarely see - and I think DH gets one from an old teacher of his! I like them, I know it's not cool to admit, and wish more people did it.

I don't understand why people expect a handwritten letter. What I hate is a card with no news - just names.
