What are you doing today?

Haven't been well here, so really need to make the most of today before kids break up. So far have changed our bed, washing is out and hoovering done. Need to drop off a couple of cards off and do some food shopping and whatever last minute presents I can get in Tescos. After lunch, it will be ironing and present wrapping. Just found another job, cat has been sick all over the conservatory - blast the only room I've totally cleaned and dusted - still love her.

If I can get all this done, then just need to deliver a couple of prezzies, get last of food shopping and have a quick wipe of bathroom and hoover xmas eve. I can then have an Xmas drink or two, three!!

Swapping pressies with family, then going to the farm shop to buy veg. Sitting on the sofa with DS all afternoon, peeling sprouts (for my Heston recipe). He's quite good at it - been doing it since he was 2 .

Finishing decorating the tree (we got a massive tree this year and one set of lights wasn't enough!). Then off to an organ recital at chapel (ds is a probationary chorister so doesn't have to sing this Christmas but is keen to attend everything). After that we will have lunch at Pizza Hut (ds considers this to be a massive treat). Then we are apparently going to an art shop so ds can buy 'giant' canvases to work on his art scholarship portfolio (he is 8 and I have no idea why or where he thinks he is getting a scholarship!).

I'd rather spend the day sitting on the sofa!

Sneezing a lot. Going to have a (hopefully) nice lunch with dd2 who is being let out from school early, at one-ish. Then I'm going to have a long hot bath with a nice new book about explorers.

going to the dentist not sure about the rest of the day as I can't actually seeing it ending!

DS and DD were supposed to be at Sports Club today ( they broke up yesterday ) but DD has a mild temp and cough so she's at home w me. This morning we've baked 2 x batches of brownies and made some pastry for the mince pies.

She currently watching Tales from the Riverbank DVD whilst I have a in between changing all the beds and vacuuming. I then need to make the mince pies, collect DS and then hairdresser here who I will quaff Prosecco and guzzle mince pies with and big tidy up/clean/more food prep for big party we have here tomorrow.

DD was supposed to go to a Rainbows party tonight but don't think she's well enough, so will prob have a quiet night with some low level tidying.

Somehow, I am staying in to wait on something, food shopping, taking one DC for a sleepover, GP visit, ironing, 2 presents to buy and wrapping presents.

No idea how I am doing this. After I finish I will finally sit down and drink whatever fake Baileys I decide to buy.

Done loads of wrapping, but now ran out of paper. Cleaned bathroom, and had some lunch.

Now waiting for dd2 to come home, as she finishes early. Then it will be more tidying.

Went to both DCs school Christmas services at church and now at my bfs house. Will be wrapping tonight .

Should be marking exam papers but having a little break.
