Urgent - surprise stocking to do!

My mum has just told me she won't be doing a stocking for my dsis this year (she's 13!) and i'm shocked!! I have decided to do one for her myself but this is the absolute last day I can get to the shops and have only a few hours so need to be strategic.
She's quite into alternative music (rocky stuff) so I though i'd get the latest Kerrang mag, a krispy kreme voucher (if they do them?), black crackly nail varnish, a dagger thingy earring, and then i'm stuck!
Please can anyone offer me some speedy assistance? I have pretty much all high street shops available and I haven't really got a budget in mind although all in, I guess not more than about £50 (can be flexible!)

Lush bathbombs?

frenchfancy · 21/12/2012 07:07

Socks, fingerless gloves, chocolate, eyeliner, and a small cuddly toy to reminder her she is still allowed to be a child.

Gumby · 21/12/2012 07:08

Go to claires accessories, there's loads of great stuff in there

I-tune Voucher

Lush bath bomb

Lip gloss

Bed socks

One of those cosy animal hats

bedmonster · 21/12/2012 07:09

Ooh, bathbombs were on my initial list in my head! Or that stuff called Fun which is like playdough for the bath, have bought that for dds stockings.
And eyeliner - of course! She trowels the stuff on.
Socks and eyeliner and Fun lush. Thanks very much. I WILL succeed today Confused

Lovely :)

Some sweets, choc, pants, gloves, manicure set. You don't need much to fill a stocking.

LoopsInHoops · 21/12/2012 07:13

Silly stuff from Hawkins Bazaar type place

Those tubes of sweets are good for stockings

Gumby · 21/12/2012 07:13

Also stationery - they love anything from paperchase at that age
Or have a look in waterstones for a diary, or a book?

bedmonster · 21/12/2012 07:33

Thankyou so much, you have all raced gallantly to my rescue with some great ideas Smile

Hairspray 13 yos use vats of the stuff! Good luck Xmas Smile

BlingLoving · 21/12/2012 07:59

If you are doing nail varnish anyway, go to boots. They have some great deals on nail varnish sets and Even their regular stuff is often at buy 2 get 3rd free. I think miss sixty or one of those brands is doing a fab selection of sparkly stuff in Metallics, all at discounted prices.

awaywego1 · 21/12/2012 08:25

What a lovely sisterly thing to do Smile don't forget sweets/chocolate and a satsuma!

bedmonster · 21/12/2012 11:30

Thanks everyone, mission complete. She has got a lovely stocking filled with very things. She will love it. We've all had a tough year as a family and she has had it harder than most of us, wanted to spoil her a bit. Merry Christmas my little elves!

Where did you get the dagger earring? DD2 would like that! She usually wears something from Topman that looks rather like a nuclear warhead.

Your little sister will think you are the bee's knees: it sounds like an excellent stocking!

TheWombat · 21/12/2012 12:12

bedmonster that is lovely!
DSD1 (13) is not really a rock chick but in her stocking is going:
Magazine
Chocs
Lip balm
Hair flowers
Shower gel / body spray
Funky socks
Hunger games books
A scarf
Itunes voucher
Pens and stationary

Good luck - I always think stocking presents are the best part of Christmas shopping! Xmas Smile

bedmonster · 21/12/2012 12:33

Stockings for me are definitely the best part of shopping too! And I happen to think she's pretty great too, we are really close.
The dagger earring came from claires, but have seen them before in punkyfish and even primarni. Got lots of nail varnishes, hairspray, other toiletries, skull headphones, lush bar, donuts voucher, mag, spiky bracelets, owl necklace, photo cube, sticky notes, and 2 eyeliners and pencil. Think that was about it,

Oops, and a diary (where I've filled in my birthday!) And cute owl socks.
Love her, she's gonna owe me a lot of babysitting one day, I need to be nice to her!

Thanks. I only ever venture into Claire's when I need things for fancy dress costumes! Might have a peek - but not until after Christmas.
