Onsies are alarmingly popular. Pikachu, in particular, though I gather animal-prints are also acceptable.

Yeah, weird, I know.

(PS, I gather Primark is good hunting territory.)

Lynx set, Davidoff cool water aftershave, itunes voucher...

Pinner35 · 20/12/2012 23:56

I would go with Itunes voucher.....

JustCallMeDavesHorse · 20/12/2012 23:58

Hate to say it.. Onesie! Even as as a joke , he'll think you're cool! What is he into tho?

VicarInaTutuDrankSantasSherry · 20/12/2012 23:58

it just occurred to me that i should probably get DD s boyfriend something too this year - they have been together a whole year on the 3rd jan

he is 16. i am also clueless.....looking for inspiration.

JustCallMeDavesHorse · 20/12/2012 23:58

How much do you want to spend. Is he a keeper??!

JustCallMeDavesHorse · 20/12/2012 23:59

Vicar Calvin kleins are always a safe bet

We3NipplesOfVoldiesWeAre · 21/12/2012 00:00

What's your budget and does he have any hobbies.

I think a nice smelly set from Boots would be a safe bet
Chocolates
Hollister spray
Sports equipment if he does sports, or base layer tops.
Something to do with his football team (calender?)
Nice hat and gloves
Topman voucher

No idea, but in my sleep addled state I thought your thread title read

'Any idea where I could bury my 16 year old daughter's boyfriend'!

Confused
Kirstoll · 21/12/2012 00:09

I would steer clear of onesies unless you definitely know he's into it.... Lyn set is best bet IMO followed by socks, briefs could be embarrassing (ck or otherwise) chocolate is pretty safe. I wouldn't go too 'out there' unless you KNOW he is particularly into something. When my dd is 16 she will be getting contraception Xmas Wink for birthday Easter and Christmas and bank holidays.... (she is 2 ATM.... The idea of '16' terrifies me!!!)

Kirstoll · 21/12/2012 00:09

Lynx set.....

sausagesandwich34 · 21/12/2012 00:11

do boys over the age of 14 use Lynx?

VicarInaTutuDrankSantasSherry · 21/12/2012 00:17

DD appears to think hers is a keeper....its all very sweet and he is lovely. I wish i had thought of this earlier...

and DS has a gf too....oh lordy. she is 20. but ive only ever met her once....do i get her something too?

MaryChristmaZEverybody · 21/12/2012 00:18

Not Lynx, please [hates Lynx with a vengeance emoticon]. But an Adidas or nivea or gillette gift set would be fine.

Any random violent movie from Tesco.

Calvin Klein pj bottoms (a tenner in TK Maxx). Or if you know him well, a onesie.

Anything to do with a sport he plays.

Any t-shirt

chocolatespiders · 21/12/2012 07:12

Some great ideas thankyou.
He plays football and supports Arsenal (we are all Spurs so maybe a Spurs calendar!!)
He is a lovely boy and dd adores him. And yesterday he texted her to say he had just bought dd2 a present for Christmas which I just thought was so sweet as dd2 annoys them most of the time!!

Will visit boots tomorrow and see if any nice gift sets. Was going to get christmas boxers from Gap but dd has said- NO.

CurlyKiwiControl · 21/12/2012 08:50

Hollister / superdry voucher? Or a love film subscription / iTunes voucher?
