Until today. There is a story from when he was 13 and bought his dad some shoes. He wrapped them seperately. Since then his mum did all his wrapping until we got together. I love wrapping and for the last 15y I have wrapped, he writes the labels. I assume his mum used to wrap my presents.

He has just wrapped my presents. Both square boxes. And they are awful. It looks like he has just bunched the paper up, and covered them in sellotape.

Still, at least he tried!

I love wrapping & can wrap most things, ribbon it etc & it looks pretty under the tree!! :-)
Dh doesn't mind wrapping but square shapes are the limit to his skills!! And therefore I wrap all the presents!!

This year my presents are wrapped AND ribboned ( round the whole lot not individually but I'm aiming for next year to have mine individually ribboned as well!) I buy all the wrapping paper so it looks nice together under the tree & I hate cheap paper that rips easily when u wrap!!
Does anyone else try & make the presents under the tree look a little coorinated with matching / complimenting colours of wrapping paper?! Xmas Blush Or is it just me??!!!

My DH is brilliant at wrapping and enjoys doing it!!

So for the past 20 years the system is ...I choose and buy all the presents, he wraps them, I write the labels, I write the cards, I do the food shopping, I cook the Christmas lunch...Xmas Hmm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I buy paper that coordinates, but they aren't under the tree long, just overnight while we sleep so I buy cheap paper.

Everything else is evenly split.

We buy presents together, I wrap he writes labels. I write cards, he posts. I buy food, he cooks xmas lunch. I do the organising though. I am the commander of christmas.

I'm a bit shit at wrapping tbh.

Not too bad but it dull and I get bored easily!

Xh however makes every single present, regardless of shape or size, into a bloody cracker-present.

Every single sodding one.

Is there anything naffer than cracker presents?

A blanket? How does that work?!

DH wraps presents better than I do. It's annoying though when he's neatly wrapping the presents for the kids when the wrapping will be removed in seconds!
