How long to keep forwarding Christmas cards?

Christmas cards still arrive every year for the people who lived in our house 7 years ago. I know where they live now and in previous years have cycled over and dropped the cards through their door.

It's not far and not a massive chore but I am a bit fed up with doing it and think if they really wanted to keep in touch they'd have given their friends their new address.

Should I keep doing it?

I wouldn't bother - and as long as you keep forwarding them, the senders won't know they've moved. I would return to sender as 'no longer at this address and haven't been for the last 7 years ffs!'

We have same issue - but only 2.5 years down the line. I know the lady reasonably well, and she told me not to worry - the people she liked had their new address!

I think there's a seasonal amnesty on typos, especially if I can get out of extra December chores!
