May I suggest good old Monopoly?
My two broke up late last week and have played it every day for most of the day!
I'm listening to them now discussing who should buy what, who's got the most amount of money, who will go to jail next etc. It's fab Smile

And at the moment, they're even singing at the same time. Oh how I wish i could bottle this!!!

Ours don't finish until Friday afternoon. So a normal weekend, then xmas eve, then xmas day. Easy .

Mine just argue when they play monopoly. Drives me crazy.

God, Monopoly causes World War 3 in our house. As do most board games.

That's what you get for having 2 competitive dhildren close in age!

I do play the Junior version a lot at work, thoughSmile

Mine finished last week!

DH and DS are elsewhere and I have six thirteen year old girls here! They are currently decorating some gingerbread snowmen I bought in the co op Grin and screaming.

What time would be reasonable to crack open a bottle of wine?

I wish ours had broken up. We seem to have had the longest term ever, they don't break up until Friday, but are shattered. All the usual stuff I do just before Christmas - craft, shopping, wrapping presents has been squeezed into weekends. They then have loads of time after -think until 8th and it seems a bit lame doing Christmas things after Christmas, so will probably just hibernate and maybe go ice skating, swimming and to the cinema.

Mine break up on fri, ds1s birthday on sat, visiting family on sun, then Xmas eve so not to much keeping kids entertained to be done and am hoping the long 2 weeks after Xmas they will be icily pied with their new things!
