Dh and Ds1 want a buffet boxing ay no matter what but its only dh (fussy) me, ds1 6 who is an extremely fussy eater but eats lots and ds2 1 who isnt fussy but dosnt eat much. We do a buffet on NYE as well so would like it to be a bit different, NYE buffet is typical kid friendly food, pizza, sausage rolls, cheese and pickles etc but what i do for boxing day buffet thats different, all i have so far is pigs in blankets and left over roast chicken.... its the 18th of Dec and i havnt bought any food yet Shock

Cheese board and crackers. Chicken/turkey and ham/gammon sandwiches. Mince pies. Trifle. Pork pies. Mini sausages. Crisps/pringles.

If they are asking for a buffet, they probably mean the same stuff that you do on NYE!

Bowl of grapes
Fresh crusty bread to make their own sandwiches
Pasta - either hot or cold - hot, just cooked in chicken stock and drained then add butter and seasoning (mine like it with soy sauce) or cold just mixed with mayo and maybe chopped apple/cucumber depending on what they eat.
Cream cheese and blinis
Quiche
mini baked potatoes with cheese or tuna
crisps :)
hot turkey wraps

Make it easy and go to Tesco/M&S and buy their party food - chicken skewers, crispy prawns, garlic mushrooms etc etc
