Need a gift for 60yo aunt!

I'm completely stuck. I want to get her something really nice - she is like a second mum to me and always spoils us and the DCs at Christmas.

She likes gardening, cooking and travelling. She is teetotal, has quite an unusual dress sense (think crazy cat lady - hates Cath Kidston, florals, pastels, etc). She's quite young at heart and has a good sense of humour.

In previous years I have bought her perfume, a purse, some gardening equipment, cookbook stand and books, a fruit tree - I am just really struggling this year!

Any ideas appreciated.

How about lpts of little bits ?
'fancy teabags/cup, chocs, a new cook book, a baking kit, some bulbs to plant, a apron, a voucher, a years subscription to her favourite magazine

You can get nice gardening diaries in WHS? the type a gardner would record what they've planted when etc. not just a daily diary. and how about a hand pamper type kit. think you can get some aimed at gardners.

Look on Traidcraft- lots of folky bits on there and it's fair trade!

Ooh, some nice ideas here, thanks! I'm thinking maybe some nice teabags (teapigs look pretty, plus she loves pigs, so seems apt) in a few different varieties and perhaps a nice teapot (and maybe even teacups) to go with it.

She is already getting a magazine subscription from my mum, else I'd have got that too! Thanks for the website suggestion too, will take a look.

Great No7 gift set less than half price

MackerelOfFact · 18/12/2012 16:55

Ooh Pinot that link doesn't work, but I'm very interested. What is it called, and I'll search for it?

Ooh is it this? That would be very good indeed. I've already got her a little L'Occitane gift set with hand and foot lotion though, but I could give that to someone else. Hmm.
