Has anyone got a tried and tested (non-boozy) trifle recipe with a twist?

Hello

Just that really. We have family coming over on Christmas Eve and I fancy making a trifle.
I'm pregnant and the kids will be eating it so it needs to be non-boozy.
Would like something a little bit different if anyone has any ideas/links. Xmas Smile

TIA

I like doing an st Clements one. Start with shop bought cheapo sponge bottom (I use Swiss roll like my granny) then layer with tinned mandarin segments, orange jelly, cold custard and whipped cream with milky way stars on the top. For next year soak your cheapo sponge in cointreau.

I'm doing a strawberry trifle and am going to try having an eton mess mix as the top layer instead of just cream.
