I was thinking along the lines of a board game maybe, something the can all play with together. They are 3 brothers aged 7, 8 and 9. I think they already have monopoly but not sure what else. My boy is much younger so I'm not sure what type of thing is popular. Any ideas?

Do they have a wii? I've got my 2 boys a skylanders giants to share, i think they'll work and interact together really well, are a bit active too.

Also, mine really like draughts, and the marble run and battle ships.

You could try a Lego boardgame or Creationary?

What about one of the Lego games? DS has the pirate plank one and really enjoys playing it. Think that one might be a bit young, but there are lego games for older DC.

Carcassone game - amazon or selling in Waterstones with river tiles included. It's a game where you lay tiles and build castles, roads, farms etc and score as you go. Different each time and you can buy extension sets which make the game more complex. Younger ones just like completing the cities, but you can be quite strategic if you want to.

Junior Monopoly is fab (games only last 20 minutes rather than a terribly fraught 11 hours) and they have to buy rides at a theme park or fairground. Good fun.

twister!

How about Pass the Bomb Junior or Star Wars Operation?
