Christmas fun/activities in Cardiff!

Hope someone has some help for me....staying in Cardiff next weekend and hoping to do something Christmassy with the children. Any ideas? I know there is a winter wonderland there but I don't want to spend a fortune on rides etc...and my DD would not be able to take part in the ice skating! Thank you for any replies.

Not Christmassy, but Technoquest is good.

Just remembered- check out the museum of welsh life (or sth like that) at St Fagan's. lots of Christmassy stuff there usually.
