My DC younger so this is alien to me - but where do you all buy nice trendy clothes for 15/16 yr old girls? I don't want to give her a token as she will be getting loads of tokens, not much fun to open. But Next, Tesco, all the places I;ve looked for clothes only go up to age 14. Adult clothes too big. Tell me where to look! I tried John Lewis online, thinking they do everything, but not much there.

OP really really don't think your niece will find vouchers boring if she's anything like my dd. My DD's eyes light up when she mentally adds up how much money she has to spend then meets her friend numerous times to go into town and is always delighted to come home and show us what she bought. Even if myself, Aunt's Uncles had bought her something similar can guarantee she would change as she is so fussy and just doesn't think anyone could pick for her!

I know my 15yr old Dsis loves money/vouchers as it means a trip into the city for shopping with friends!

If you really would rather buy her a gift I would ask her mum what size she is in certain shops or shoe size.

Maybe buy something, and attach the receipt so that she can take it back and change it, if you would prefer to buy a gift.

Yep, from the age of 12 the gifts become vouchers I am afraid, with maybe a little thing to open on the day - I find a selection box is still popular, no matter the age!
