Does he put everyone's presents under the tree or do the children have their own pile somewhere eg. on the couch?

Does he put them in sacks? Are the stockings filled on the end of the LO's beds, or do they end up next to all the other stuff?

Ow it's getting close!

Pillowcase at the end of the bed. It's a nightmare at times Xmas Grin, as it means waiting for everyone to be fast asleep (ages range from 20 down to 7)so that 'Santa' can tiptoe in, but we are caught in the tradition, now.

We do the same asbluesirens as this is how it was for me as a child and then the pillowcases are brought into our bedroom and we take it in turns to open the presents ( adults inc) and then downstairs for a crazy free for all Grin

Small gifts in stockings at the end of beds (dc can open as soon as they wake up) then presents under tree and piled on sofas (colour coded wrapping to tell who's is who's) that are opened when everybody is awake!

First he fills the stockings with candy, puts the presents under the tree and eats any cookie left by.

I imagine op’s children probably don’t believe in Santa any more...
Why do people do this? Confused

DD blatantly no longer believes. But still gets a stocking (and pile of presents).

Stocking is laid out in the sitting room beside the cookies and glass of milk.

It is filled there, and bigger presents left piled beside it on the carpet. Unwrapped.

Presents from people are all wrapped under the tree (there is always something there from DH and I to DD, as we have presents to each other, and she has presents for us too, as well as extended family presents).

Next year, I am determined that there won't be the pile on the floor, but there will instead be 3 stockings to open (DH, DD and I)!! And she will get her presents wrapped under the tree as normal, to be opened in the afternoon with all the others, as normal.

(DD is now 14 BTW, so it's not some form of child abuse to change things…)
