Or am I the only loser who has too much time on their hands? Grin
I'm wearing a red 3/4 sleeve dress, black back seamed stockings and red ballet flats,
DD will be in a (gorgeous) tartan dress with cream tights and red velvet shoes and
DH will hopefully get dressed... Grin

Do you have outfits planned yet?

Probably my favourite teal green long dress - 3/4 sleeve, cross-over bodice, black velvet ribbon round the waist. I love it, but rarely get to wear it!

Ds1 (5) will start off in Christmas PC's and hopefully be persuaded into the cords and t-shirt currently under the tree. Ds2 (5 months) will likewise start in Christmas pj's (well, all-in-one that looks like traditional pj's), and then get put into his cute Gap knitted romper with a reindeer on the front once it's unwrapped. And then probably about 4 other outfits after he's been sick 3 times, had one exploding nappy and got my gravy dripped on him over dinner.

Like you, I'm just hoping dh actually gets dressed...

Benaberry · 15/12/2012 10:50

Not sure why my phone decided to suggest ds1 would be starting the day dressed as a festive policeman?

He'll be starting the day in Christmas PJ'S!

SantasNaughtySack · 15/12/2012 11:28

Ooh, your dress sounds lovely Benaberry Envy
DH has a nice new jumper currently under the tree that I will try and wrestle him into before we go a-visiting, we shall see how that goes Grin

This: www.picnicclothing.com.au/shop/keyhole-maxi-dress/

It looks MUCH better on. With a belt and silver sparklyish sandals.

It's hot here Xmas Smile.

DDs have new red dresses.

AKissIsNotAContract · 15/12/2012 11:40

A bikini.

Lavenderhoney · 15/12/2012 11:44

I plan to start the day in pj's along with the dc. Dh will get dressed and go to work. I will refuse to be in photos for the relatives til dressed.

Later on, I will wear jeans and a nice top, to take kids out, and they will wear anything suitable for the park. When we get back, I will put in something sparkly or a cocktail dress, dd will wear her party dress and fabulous shoes all sparkly and look better than me:)

Dh will come home, change into jeans and we will have Christmas dinner.

Then back into pj's:)

SantasHugandRollintheSnow · 15/12/2012 11:54

New pjs from Christmas Eve. We will only get dressed if we fancy going out for a walk. It's the first year we have been able to stay home all day as a family and I'm looking forward to doing things our way.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/12/2012 12:33

Is this your Christmas Day wardrobe?

Yes you have too much time on your hands Xmas Grin

I've got a festive black and gold jumper (gold sequin reindeer) and black/gold leggings.

I can wear that for cooking.
Not decided about the meal (as in eating).

My DD will decide what she really wants to wear is something not washed/ironed (even though she has a million flipping clothes) Confused

SantasNaughtySack · 15/12/2012 12:38

Blush 70 I know, but I've already wrapped all my presents etc, I'm scrapping the barrel of things to do for Christmas cheer Grin

onthemetro · 15/12/2012 13:27

I'll be wearing a dress, but not sure which one yet as I am yet to buy it. But hopefully it'll be sparkly in some way Grin

MegaClutterSlut · 15/12/2012 13:52

Me,DH,DD & DS will be wearing a tacky xmas jumper this year. I can't wait Xmas Grin

marriedandwreathedinholly · 15/12/2012 14:17

I have treated myself to a grey knitted tunic dress from White Stuff with a red scarf to co-ordinate with the little bit of red on the trimming. I bought some nice black ribbed tights to go with it and this thread has made up my mind to pop into the Ecco shop in wimbledon to buy the fab black leather knee boots I looked at last Tuesday rather than making do with the dark grey suede ones I had from Clark's last year and which now look scruffy.

fuzzpig · 15/12/2012 17:57

We've never done new clothes for Xmas day before but this year I got myself a long red wool jumper and some festive patterned leggings :o

We will also be doing new PJs on Xmas eve - previously had done for DCs only but I got new trousers for us too - ghostbusters for DH and dumbo for me :)

nellyjelly · 15/12/2012 17:58

Just my notmal stuff. Boringly we never dress up.

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 15/12/2012 18:01

C0smos · 15/12/2012 18:07

Ermmm a pair of denim shorts and a t shirt same as every other day, would never cross my mind to dress up unless I was going to some posh restaurant for lunch

GobblersSparklyExplodingKnob · 15/12/2012 18:14
