can I ask what you are buying your 12 year old ds please

Just interested as to what you buy for boys of this age

I've got a 13 year old and a 12 year old.

the 13 year old wants transformers, some weird pc game, nerf guns and the like and the 12 year old wants the krusty krab playset, play dough, a rubix cube and some nano hexbug thing.

My 12yo DS has some dj decks that plug into his laptop, and headphones so i hopefully don't have to hear his muxing attempts

it is a difficult age to buy for my ds to old for toys but not into clothes either he is getting new hobbit model kit from games workshop lots of sweets and a onesie

Some dr dre headphones? As requested and a dressing gown

PS game, dressing gown, an iPod accessory (old iPod will be donated by uncle).

My 11 year old (year 7) is getting Xbox game (WWE 13), ODI scooter handlebar grips, hoody, pjs, onesie, lego set, boxers, tshirt, books and his main present is ipad mini (with money towards it from grandparents). I've spent more money than usual but he's had a tough time since he started secondary school which has probably influenced this.

Ds 12, 13 in March is having,
I pod Touch, Beats (naughty ones), Rubiks Cube, Powerball thingymajig, Box set of On The Buses (don't ask)... Xbox games, Dressing Gown & Slippers, Docking station, Guinness book of records and a few stocking fillers.

Ds (just 12) is having a chromebook, hollister hoodie, some clothes from river island, pair of vans, ps3 games. He asked for beats headphones but I think the chromebook is better for him and he isnt having both. Have got him some skull candy ones instead. One onsie pjs and smellie stuff and thats about it.

My mum has got him a new mobile and his dad is getting a stunt scooter.

Mine asked for:

• UMD movies for his PSP (we got him the whole set of Rocky, which he has seen and likes)

• New USB Drive

• Alan Partridge Merchandise

• Nice Christmas Dinner

We are getting him Minecraft clothing and merchandise as well as the above as a surprise - he really loves Minecraft. He also actually likes getting clothing like witty slogan t-shirts.

We got him his own PC for his birthday (custom build, my DH is an IT professional, so it wasn't expensive, but is high performance) which he is very pleased with - he said that was such a great present he doesn't really need anything else, but would be happy with anything. :)

DS1 is 12. DH and I have got him: a big pile of books (10 or so), the death note manga box set, a origami Star Wars book (to keep him busy on Christmas Day) and a wall scroll with one of the characters from bleach on it (toshiro hitsugaya, in case anyone wanted more details). And various stocking fillers too, of course.

His dad is getting him videogames (for the xbox and for the ps vita) and an iPad mini. And probably a Lego set.

My DS is 12.5 (Y8). Most of the stuff on this thread is double dutch to me , my DS loves his ipod touch but isn't really a 'gamer'. He hasn't asked for anything specific this year. In total, he is getting: (main gift) taken to see 'we will rock you', also: DVDs of Dark Knight Rises, Avengers Assemble?, New Tricks don't ask, he loves it; a 'build your own combustion engine' set £20 from HobbyCraft; some Calvin Kein boxers; and socks and pyjamas because they are compulsory in our house at Christmas. Bit of chocolate and smellies in his stocking.

Oh yes and he desperately needs gloves, and hat too. Has lost last year's. Scarf survives.

I'd normally buy him clothes as well, but we stocked up on a US holiday recently so he doesn't really need any more.

ps3 between him and ds2 ( 10 yrs) which came with 3 games. Books like ripley believe it or not, top gear etc. Sci fi movie making kit, lego mouse for pc,pc head phones and a ton of other stuff I have probably bought and forgot about Nothing cost full price though or paid for with vouchers got from doing surveys over the year.

Definitely the most we have spent on both dc this year.
