Present for you from your husband/partner -what do you want?

What would you like to receive from your husband/partner?
Do they usually choose or do you tell them whatyou would like to receive?

He chooses. He also makes a list for me for his other family members, as they all do this everyone-makes-a-list thing. I don't see the list. He wraps it all and hides it away and would be absolutely gutted if I guessed it or found it. It must take him a while...I never know what I want, but he always founds gorgeous things I'd never have thought of.

Although this year all I want is to be able to take my cat with me.

Wow! CAja you have a great man! :-) So do I but Christmas shopping aint his thing.
Ive put stuff on my Amazon wish list from other stores like Ness, Cath Kitson and Soap and Glory. He'll take his pick according to budget. Ive requested Cath Kitson slippers, some Pjs to wear in hospital and at home after our baby is born in the new year, Soap & Glory classic set,Soap &Glory vanity case and a Ness handbag.

I put up a wish list this time, in very good time!, but looks like I'll end up buying and wrapping myself - AGAIN
He left it so late that there's hardly time to order/deliver it before the day now... Because - oh my - I have to go to work too.... (just not today - but I'll NOT go back anywhere near the shops)

Ok - sorry - Rant over!!

I have already bought some bargains that I liked anyway as I rarely spend money on self so I think I'll get two nice cookery books and a Bodyshop set - finally some smellies I chose myself!

DH and I have been together for 27 years so we know better than try to guess
He likes techy things (I'm clueless)
I like naice toilettries (heaven knows what he'd come home with)

He asked for crystal whiskey tumblers (got them) and a bottle of whiskey to test them out.
I've ordered loads of Elemis.

He'll buy me books (he always manages to buy me ones I didn't know I wanted )

We do lists then pick & choose which to get the other so theres still an element of surprise. He's usually running around on christmas eve buying gifts however he's just had a large box delivered so i'm hoping thats for me

I want a new phone, some dvds, some perfume and some nice chocs, hes finished shopping so we shall see. He wanted a kobo reader, aftershave and dvds, hes got all and some extras.

Dh is rubbish at present buying and also at present receiving. In an ideal world he would rather give me money and me give him money. Which of course is useless. We now set a small budget to buy eachother a present. I give DD(16) ideas of what I'd like and she sorts out DHs presents.

I really dont know what to ask .
