Present suggestions for 8-year-old girl

Please help! I need to get two presents for my niece (it's her 8th birthday in early Jan). She's bright, book-loving and girly and I have no idea what she might be into as I have two boys, so girls are a bit of a mystery.

For the 8 year old girls in our life I have bought a gorgeous fluffy dressing gown, jelly belly bath products, a fab mug full of hot chocolate and marshmallows, riding gloves, hanna beads and other arty box sets and books.

I got this Totally-Me-Light-Up-Fashion-Tracing-Designer for my 8 yr old niece.

Also got a sequin t-shirt and UNO Roboto game for her and sister to share.

Thanks for all these suggestions! I loved Joan Aiken's books when I was a girl, so I might get her a set of those. I very rarely go to their house so I don't know what she's got and my DB is hopeless with suggestions!
