Those of you doing Christmas eve boxes...

What do you use as a box and what are you putting in it?

I have so far got pyjamas, night before xmas book, reindeer food and I want to get a dvd (but haven't yet). But it suddenly occurred to me I haven't got anything to put it in. What are you all doing?

Planning on getting their elf to leave it overnight on the 23rd as a thank you gift . They will need to put the reindeer food out in daylight and have time to watch the dvd before they go to bed on 24th.

Mine has a DVD (Arthur christmas), christmas book, reindeer food, magic key, map of Santana journey and a letter for each child from Santa, candy canes, chocolate coins, mini gingerbread houses, lush FUN gift set for their bath, reindeer antlers for them to wear lol, hot chocolate and an activity pack from poundland to make balloon characters with the stickers and cardboard feet etc. Put it all in a giant basket from home bargains and I'm debating wrapping it or leavin it on the doorstep for them to find

Ours in a plain cardboard box wrapped in Xmas paper with tissue paper and sprinkles in. Ours is a family hamper so it contains treats for us all....most of which I'd buy anyway, especially the adult drink.

Not putting DVD in as we have sky and there's about 5 Xmas films on at any one time! Arthur Xmas has been on everyday almost!

First time doing it this year.

Ds is 5 and he's getting a DVD, book (Night Before Christmas), pyjamas with slipper socks, a new night light, a cup with a extra large saucer for biscuits, hot chocolate, squirty cream, marshmallows, mini gingerbread men, candy canes, chocolate santa, christmas tree decoration (an owl) and a cuddly polar bear.

Was going to put the letter from FC in the box but thinking of giving it to him early as he keeps writing another letter to FC and I can't keep up. Once he's got his reply he might stop.

It's going in a little lined wicker basket with a bit of tinsel round it but nothing wrapped. The basket will probably be used the next day for keeping little bits of lego etc. in.
