Can anyone recommend solar powered outdoor lights and Christmas tree lights?

How long do they stay bright for at night time?

Hmm, not very long at this time of year IME. I have them in the garden, in summer they are on well past midnight but I'd be lucky if any are still on at 7pm in December.

I bought battery operated lights for outdoors last year & they were really good. They were on a timer & once set come on each night at the same time for 6 hours. If you had them on "twinkle" the batteries lasted right through - am doing the same again this year too.

re Tree lights - we just bought 400 led white lights (from B&Q on offer) to add to our existing ones & they look realy prettty.

I have solar lights for the tree in the front garden, no they don't stay on long I wish I'd got the battery ones now.
