Tell me what I want for Christmas...

DH keeps nagging me to decide what I want but I'm getting nowhere. I'm in a good place right now. I finally feel like I'm an adult, I have a lovely family and the things I need and use so I honestly feel like I don't need anything. He's determined to get something though so any ideas? Please?

Something to interest you in a new hobby?

I am getting a beginner's sewing machine from DH. Am so looking forward to playing with it :)

We quite often do 'try something new' presents, the past I've bought DH a cookery course, guitar lessons. One year I got riding lessons from him, and now riding has become a real passion of mine.

Hmmm, a cooking or baking course might be a good idea. At least that's a starting point! Thank you Xmas Smile

What's his budget?

Somersaults · 09/12/2012 22:42

Well I think part of it is that I know we have no money this year so I don't think we can justify presents for each other. He's looking at £20 but his mum and dad have very generously given him some money for me as well so up to £100 but it by no means has to be that much.

I would like one a vintage-look Roberts digital radio for the kitchen. I'll probably get something totally random instead! Grin

I just got my Parents to buy me a good quality manicure set (you know, scissors, nail file, all in a leather wallet). Quite £££, but now I'm finally grown up ;-) and might look after my hand better!

Sorry just read that this is possibly not a good option re: budget.

The other thing I'm getting is a funky woolly hat, with fleece lining - no more cold ears!

I love the Roberts radio idea, I'd like one of those too! :)

How about:
A kindle
A box set of a great series like Mad Men or The Wire
theatre / gig tickets
An iPod shuffle to use in the gym / when running
Lovely underwear (wearable, not frou frou) or loungewear that you wouldn't buy yourself
Gardening things

Ooh underwear is a good idea. I only have incredibly unattractive nursing bras at the moment but DD will not be bfing much longer so perhaps we could save the Christmas present until then and get some lovely non nursing bras. That's a good idea Xmas Smile
