When they are keen on kicking a ball.

My ds got a goal for his first birthday. But his first word was "goal!"

Doe th 3 year old concerned love football?

Anothercuppatea · 09/12/2012 09:23

Not particularly. He kicks a ball with his dad in the garden but he's not football obsessed or anything. I am keen to encourage sports and playing outside. Just not sure he gets the concept of scoring goals yet.

My DS got a set last summer, just before he turned 3, only small ones. He quite liked kicking the ball past his dad on occasion but he prefers his sandpit for outdoor play.

Get a trampoline instead ,its quieter ,will keep him fitter and you'll only have to watch not participate.

Thanks. Maybe it's better idea for next year.
