Ideas greatly recieved. She's getting a bike and a baby doll from 'Santa' but family are asking for suggestions and I've run dry.

What's your 3 nearly 4 yr old DD getting please?

I'm looking for a Play Doh set, possibly the candy cyclone one.

A cd/dvd.

My dds obsessed with puzzles atm. The You Choose book is fab I've read it myself as it's for dds Christmas

And the Galt marble run I can't wait

Dd is still really into Duplo too, think Lego is a long way off as she'll just get frustrated with it.

Shybairns · 08/12/2012 21:16

My DD is a secnd DC to her DS who is 5. So we have alot of things I was buying her brother at this age. Makes it tough.

How about the build-it construction sets from elc? my DS(3.4) and DNeice(4) are both getting that and I think they'll both be equally excited. Also - you can't beat a fire engine with flashing lights.

ZandraDee · 08/12/2012 21:20

I'd suggest something by My Little Pony because mine loves it when we are at her cousin's house despite me thinking its plastic tat , the Leap Frog Tag reading pen and a book, a letter ladder snake thing from ELC, Baby Annabel style doll and dress up costumes.

Melissa and Douglas dressing up bears and food sets have been big hits in our house Xmas Smile

Marble run for my 3 nearly 4 dd.

I am getting DD2 (4.4) roller skates that are strapped on over shoes. Some of them allow you to lock the front wheels. DD3 (2.4) was able to "skate" on them without any help.

Orchard toys games always go down very well and they aren't expensive. Mine like the shopping game and DD2 is getting Old MacDonald Lotto for Christmas.

Playmobil for DD1 4.3 campervan, pool rave reviews all over
Also building blocks as she loves them at preschool
Bead set for making necklaces other crafty stuff

BringUsSomePigleyPudding · 09/12/2012 08:48

Things DD1 aged 4 is getting are

Orchard games... fun and educational too.
Games -Pop up pirate etc
Stables
Lots of craft/drawing things
Playdough
Books
Lego
Disney princess stuff

winnybella · 09/12/2012 09:10

DD (almost 4) will be getting Playmobil princess castle and bits to go with it. It's expensive, though. I think you can't go wrong with any Playmobile set, tbh. Farm looks lovely as well. Great for imagination, good quality, lasts for ages.

Other than that, I think she'll get a princess outfit, books, Leapfrog tablet thingy, craft sets, and bits like hair bobbles, felt tips, paints etc.

Pleasenomorepeppa · 09/12/2012 09:24

DD, 3.6 is getting
*A Mary Poppins umbrella (one of her fave films!).
*Disney Princess Duplo.
*Princess Play-Doh.
*Lalaloopsy mini dolls.
*A green lightsaber.
*A Post Office Set.
Last year she asked for a Dolls House & refused to open any other other presents because she only wanted a Dolls House & nothing else. They were all still wrapped up a cupboard in May & given to her for her Birthday!
This year I've only got her what she's asked for!!
