whom I know nothing about and have never met!

They're my half brothers, my dad has recently made contact with me in the first time in forever and I would like to send a small gift to his sons but I haven't got a clue where to start. Help please!

Thanks x

Lego won't be wrong.

Thank you, my ds is 2 so if they were a little younger I'd know exactly what to get Grin

Dressing up costumes

MegBusset · 08/12/2012 18:34

Can't go wrong with Lego for that age.

lljkk · 08/12/2012 19:01

Lego much too frustrating for my DSs at that age, tbh.

I'd go for pushcars for both. Maybe a tractor for the 4yo & a landy with caravan for the 6yo.

LoonvanBoon · 08/12/2012 19:45

I'd also go for cars - a pack of Hot Wheels or similar. My sons & all their friends were very keen on cars at that age, whereas only a few had graduated to lego. You can buy packs of 5 Hot Wheels cars for around £6.

Anything spiderman

skatebauble · 08/12/2012 23:04

Cars
Torch
Gator golf game (to share?)

NagooHoHoHo · 08/12/2012 23:08

Home Bargains have got bakugan stuff in from £1 to £4 :)

BikeRunSki · 08/12/2012 23:13

Sticker books
Playmobile (less aggro for the parents than little Lego)
ELC do the Big City range of emergency vehicles with lights and sirens. They are £8 each or 2 for a tenner (usually). DS loves them. there's a police car, police helicopter, fire engine and ambulance and I think a few other construction-y type ones.

BertieBotts · 08/12/2012 23:18

Sticker book, cars YY definitely. Or sweets.

Agree with lego being a bit fiddly for a 4yo, especially if he's the younger side of 4. But then again if he has an older brother he probably is into slightly "older" toys.

StickEmWithThePointyEnd · 09/12/2012 09:33

Thanks for the ideas! I'm usually good at Christmas shopping Grin

I hope you get to meet your half brothers.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/12/2012 16:23

Lego sticker books are on offer in Smiths for around four pounds at the moment. They are my 'go-to' idea for small boys this year, so I hope they will go down okay.
